This 3 half day-long (5, 6 and 8 October 2020 from 9am to 12h30pm) workshop provides an opportunity for individuals to explore issues of diversity and discrimination, and to better understand them within the context of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act.
These sessions are planned to allow for flexibility, small group discussions and interaction among participants and facilitators. Experience, reflection, thinking and doing are part of each workshop as individuals apply their experiences to the day.
Acknowledging diversity in learning styles, the workshop incorporates a variety of activities to ensure inclusive participant engagement.
